À travers le développement d'une démarche de recherche participative, cet ouvrage examine l'émergence de ce débat dans le contexte international ainsi que son appropriation dans le cadre français et explore les tensions entre l'affirmation d'un idéal utopique et sa difficile domestication dans la vie sociale. Loin de réduire le langage des droits humains à une idéologie abstraite, comme le font parfois les sciences sociales, ce livre développe une sociologie affirmative originale qui conjugue recherches empiriques et quête sociale d’une meilleure considération des plus vulnérables. Through the development of a participatory research approach, this book examines the emergence of this debate in the international context and its appropriation in France, and explores the tensions between the affirmation of a utopian ideal and its difficult domestication in social life. Far from reducing the language of human rights to an abstract ideology, as is sometimes the case in the social sciences, this book develops an original affirmative sociology combining empirical surveys and a social quest for better consideration of the most vulnerable. In doing so, it sheds light on the anthropological, political and clinical conditions of the advent of an ideal at the same time as its transformative scope. 02 00 The book proposes to take human rights as a sociological object based on the example of the social controversy of the recognition of "universal legal capacity". La publication du livre viendrait remplir ce manque.
