This dossier presents a range of analyses of teacher education from the point of view of content. The articles shed light on the wide range of issues raised, taking into account the viewpoints of those most directly involved in teacher education (trainer teacher, teaching and training staff, etc.). The articles particularly highlight the didactic tensions produced by the construction of the content of and in the teacher education. In fact, this process is situated at the intersection of the subjects to be taught, the knowledge and skills common to the teaching profession, as well as those of teachers' trainers, and research into teaching and teacher education.
